Jay D. Mulder

Jay D. Mulder is a qualified Ayurvedic Herbalist. He speaks on Ayurveda at
the Woodford Folk Festival yearly. He holds a Diploma of Herbalism and
Nutrition from Queensland Institute of Natural Science, a Bachelor of
Complimentary Medicine from Charles Sturt University, a Certificate of
Ayurveda and a Ayurvedic Clinical Certificate from Dr Rajan Coopan. Jay is
founder of The Eumundi Medicine Man on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, and
has an association with Rajah Healthy Acres in South India, where he
undergoes regular training in Ayurvedic medicine, including knowledge of
purva and pancakarma. Previously, he spent 12 years in a ashram. For the
past six years, Jay has taught the Ayurvedic Lifestyle course and the
Advanced Diploma of Western Herbalism course at Sunshine Coast TAFE. He also
teaches 'Ayurveda Certificate 1V' at the Body Mind and Soul College, Forest
Lakes, Brisbane. He is the author of three booklets, entitled 'Safe and
Unsafe Carbohydrates', 'The Essential and Luxury of Ayurvedic Cooking', with
DVD, and 'Simply Ayurveda'. He is vice-president of Bhaktivedanta Benevolent
Association Inc., an organization that freely distributes vegetarian food
and personal counselling.

Jay is the president of the Palmwoods Jyotish Club which meets at The
Ayurvedic Herb Shed.
